Cross Roads hosted by Terry Graham is a weekly excursion into the fertile earth of American roots music, playing blues, C&W, R&B, rock-n-roll, as well as some great tracks from the past that he loves to share.
Philosophy of the show:
American roots music in all its forms (blues, C&W, R&B, rock-n-roll, etc) forms a strong foundation for what Terry played as a drummer and grew up hearing in Texas. Fortunately, there’s a lot of it, and he is continually discovering great tracks from the past that he loves to share. However, Terry is not a purist or “obscurist.” A good song is a good song whether popular or hidden in the weeds. For that reason, Terry plays what he genuinely enjoy hearing. A lot of great songs don’t fit any particular genre and certainly won’t be ignoring those gems, either.
Every week on "Sonic Fringe", Moana focuses our attention on a different themed show consisting of music ranging from 1965-1975 within a variety of genres, with a few songs from other eras, as she sees fit. Although Moana's heart lies in the 60's, her taste runs the gamut, always keeping and ear open for like minded newer music.
