Hard-Hitting June 16 Atomic Cocktail Tackles Society’s Ills!

Addressing our toughest common problems is a challenging assignment. But it’s one which the popular Atomic Cocktail radio show gladly takes on this Thursday, June 16, at 5 p.m. California time. For instance, the Angry Samoans tackle the obesity epidemic; Dionne Warwick addresses social isolation; and Reggie Perkins investigates high-school gang culture. More thoughtful expositions of society’s big issues will be undertaken by the MC5, Rosie & the Originals and others.

The Beyondophonic Beachland Brunch with DJ Tothar!

Man, It's been FOREVER since I've done a live/public DJ gig, and I've been meaning to do one of the Beachland's "Sunday DJ Brunch" events for almost as long.

So, in between Mother's Day and Memorial Day, I'll be hauling over 75 of my favorite records up to Cleveland for a 4-hour Beyondophonic Action Brunch!

And furthermore, I will be recording the DJ set and doing song announcements and pre-recording four hours of my radio show *...LIVE* at the Beachland Tavern, complete with ambient crowd noise. Across the month of June, you can later re-live the event by tuning into my show "The Beyondophonic Action Hour" on Sunday nights at 7 pm PT on LuxuriaMusic.com Internet radio. Eat your heart out, Garrison Keillor!

Thrifting for Tunes goes Italian (again)!

A whole show of Italian pop singles from the 1960s... culled from over 5 hours of recently acquired material.

(If you enjoyed some of the Morricone-produced pop I've played on past shows, you're bound to eat this up!)

19 Italo-pop-tastic tunes by the likes of I Quelli, Catherine Spaak, Little Tony, I Dik Dik, I Giganti, Edoardo Vianello, and many more!

It's like lasagna for your ears!
