LUX DJ ON "AMERICA'S GOT TALENT"
In a bizarre sequence of events, Lux DJ Kristian Hoffman will be playing keys for eccentric Kazakhstanian tenor, Timur Bekbosunov, before the panel of celebrity judges of "America's Got Talent" this coming Saturday, March 13th, for likely inclusion in the new season. Timur's band, with Kristian on keys, have already passed two auditions, and Timur has already been filmed in a lengthy interview by the producers.Timur, whose affection for odd Russian compositions by sexually indeterminate prisoners from 1920's Siberia has resulted in two fantastic youtube videos, will be singing Kristian's composition "Total Eclipse", originally written for Klaus Nomi. The arrangement will stray from the disco-lite 80's original by being determinedly Weill-ian - a banjo, a cello, a tuba, and a bassoon are likely. Timur has already recorded two new Hoffman compositions for inclusion in his next album.
Please cross your Luxurian fingers and light your Luxurian candles that this odd amalgam of quasi-American (or queasy?) musical disciplines (and lack of same) gets to undermine the polyester fabric of "America's Got talent" in every way!
